Still need my laptop, but I can at least ramble real quick now.



SO. College. Woo.

Yesterday, I did... next to nothing. Mom and I set up my room (which is very pink), and then I actually went back home. XD I was online for a bit, actually!

Today we went to the airport to pick up my roommate, Ariel. She's fairly awesome - good taste in music, for one. David Bowie. ♥

Then we went back to Soka to, you know, move in. None of her stuff has come yet, so I'm lending her a pillow. XD;

We went out to lunch with a bunch of other girls, all of whom were fairly awesome. (One of them is on LJ, actually - hi, Riri, if you read this!) Lunch was made of delicious and win. Mmm, miso. :3

Then there was a tour and there was this girl and she was like "OMG LENORE". And I did -not- know who she was. XD; Turns out that she's dating the friend of one of my friends, Toli, and met him on Saturday, during which time he mentioned me. Her name is Edelweiss (with one of those German B-things like in Weiss Kreuz. I want to call her Edelweeb but she will shoot me if I do probably). She likes anime (at least a little), knows Japanese, and is fairly awesome.

Then I went back to the dorm and just kinda collapsed a little. And then I came here because I LOVE YOU ALL. ♥

Now I have... a lot of time to kill. >>; SUGGESTIONS PLS? (AIM Express is probably not an option.)

Suggestions.. more exploring? Organize a clandestine group destined to rule the Canadian Northwest? Go to a Star Wars screening and bug everyone by pointing out the direct rip-offs of The Hidden Fortress? Plot out ways to de-pink your room? Start a religion based on a piece of campus artwork? (Wait, your parents already did that.) Detonate close to 1,000kg of explosives in a single pit? (Wait, I did that one.) Sit in a public place, pretend your cell phone is on vibrate, and keep telling Paris that you really can't party with her anymore. Pretend to be a refugee from some vague, unspecified Balkan country. Give a lecture to your sock drawer, preferably with witnesses. Tell a complete stranger that the campus is really nice, except for all the penguins. Skip. Scrawl "Admiral Yamamoto, please call your service" on a public phone in Japanese. Ask a librarian where the books on Zen are; and when told, scoff and say that the Zen that can be found is not the true Zen.

That last one should be worth some semester hours if not an immediate degree and tenure.
