(Warning: lots of half-formed ideas and confusion lie here. Feel free to skip over this, half of it's laying out stuff for my own benefit.)

Okay, so, there's this musical called Chess, right? Not the most popular musical ever but hey, I like it. Some of you may have heard of it, I don't really know how well-known it actually is. ._.;

But the thing is? It's only half about chess. It's also about the Cold War. See, the two players it follows are from America and Russia, the American's second Florence is a refugee from Hungary, etc etc.

And the main characters are just named "The American" and "The Russian".
