I'm going to miss mumumugen as mod, I gotta say. Yeah, I disagreed with the fascism/communism decision thing, but still. He used Maleficent to make posts about papercraft dolls. How is that not awesome.

Also, I got on the list of "best authors in fandom"... but there was also a thread on how people are tired of Lithuania + Poland Vilnius fic. Seeing as I just posted up a fic on the Polish ultimatum (that has no comments, wtf D:), this... worries me a bit.

Meh, whatever. Going to go back to obsessively checking for comments.

And yeah, mumumugen (i cannot spell this for the life of me, even if it's right there) was a very good mod, even if the fascism/communism post was something that made me uncomfortable at the community. (And now I don't feel like I can even post there after all this :< )

Aha. Yes. I guess a lot was just raaaaaage at that point after the recent happenings (I think the last modpost was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back) and just went, "OH SCREW THIS, LET'S WANK."

The trick, I think, with handling anon meme is sifting, and generally reminding yourself not to take them all seriously, and that they're just releasing frustrations and are decent people outside the anon meme...I hope.
